Dear Tracy,
I am 13 years old and my grandma made a fairy house in the woods next to her house. I absolutly loved it! I am working on gathering things I can use to make my own fairy house at my house. I also read your book when I was younger and it was great!

Dear Amanda,
If you would like for your house to be attractive to faires they prefer locust tree leaves to decorate there home.As for yor house itself,if you have any pears or fruits that grow around your house, simply hollow out the friut and or hang it in a locust tree.Mine is a dried gourd that was hollowed out and then i cut out windows and a chimmeny.Im still in the procces of making mine.I know these facts because im a proffesional in the field of fairies.Hope that i was a help for your fairie house to be.
sincerily,
Griffin Hall

Dear Tracy,
I became facinated with making fairyhouses after taking my granddaughters to the Fairy House Festival at the Botanical Gardens in Maine. We purchased and had you sign one of your books and it became our inspiration for the rest of the summer. The girls and I walked in the woods and collected building materials. Although one granddaughter is now 10 and the other 14, we still share this hobby. It has given us something in common. I now have a fairy garden and my neighbors bring their visitors to see it. Many of them have gone home and made their own fairy houses. Thanks for the inspiration!
Sincerely,
Nancy from Ebeemee Lake, Maine

Hello, my name is Jocelyn and I am 7 years old. I have been building fairy houses on my family farm in Indiana since I was 5, when I learned about them after receiving “Kristen’s Fairy Houses” the video, as a gift. I wanted Tracy Kane to see one of my latest fairy houses that I built near our front door. Some of them I build in our woods, and some of them are in the gardens. We have baby toads and carpenter ants visiting lately.
I’ve watched the video a hundred times and see something new every time. I also have the books and we leave them on the coffee table for everyone to see and comment on. Thank you so much for writing them and making the video. I have had many happy days building fairy houses because of your stories.
Sincerely,
Jocelyn, Kendallville, IN

My mom and dad and I are going to visit the fairy houses on Monhegan Island this summer. We are also going to see the play in Portland Maine! We love your books and video too. Here is a picture of one of the houses we have built in our yard. Since the picture, we have added much more to the house and have also built several more around our yard. Thank you for giving us such a magical activity our whole family can enjoy together! Love Abigail and Sam, Hopkinton, NH

Dear Tracy,
I am 6 years old and I build a fairy house every summer! This winter, my mom found the book “Kristen’s Fairy House” and read it to me. I loved it!! Now I want the other books and the video!
Here is a picture of me and the fairy house I made last summer. (I didnt pick these flowers, thats a no-no..they had fallen over and walked on by my dog, so I used them in my house. This year I have shells that we picked up at the beach over the winter, I cant wait to use them!
Sincerely,
Katie Hennessey

Dear Tracy,
My Aunt Tanya gave me your books for a present. This is how I learned to make fairy houses. I think my fairy house looks really good. This is how I made it. I put rocks in a circle & then I stuck sticks in the ground. Next, I put a leaf on top of the sticks. I used an acorn as a bath tub for the fairies. I put acorns & berries for their food. I used an open milk weed for the bed. Then I put leaves & left over milk weed in the back of the fairy house. Does that sound like a good fairy house?”

I have believed in fairies for as long as I can remember. I have always wanted to see one. When I went to Arizona I made a fairy house. Not as good as other ones on this web site but good. It was plain, flat, and it wasn’t well – hidden. I Don’t think any fairies have found it yet but I hope some do.

Dear Tracy,
We are brother and sister and our Nanna just bought us the book Fairy Houses, yesterday. Nanna read the story last night and we dreamed of making our first fairy house in the morning. After breakfast, we went out with Nanna and collected, bark, sticks, a pine cone, leaves and some dried grass… oh, and two feathers we found in the flower garden. We found a quiet spot at the base of the stone wall behind the garden shed. Nanna helped us build our first fairy house and we are hoping to build another one the next time we visit. We are going to check the house every time we visit. Here is a picture to show you what it looks like.

Hi T. Kane

My name is Haleigh Simmons and I am in the first grade. We read your book and then we worked as partners to build a fairy house. I think the fall is a great time to build a fairy because the leaves on the ground are red, yellow and orange. Also a lot of the flowers have fallen to the ground so the add color too! I told my dad all about making a fairy house and we made this one. Haleigh

Dear Tracy,
I really liked your video. It looks like you and Kristen had a lot of fun making those houses and pretending to be fairies. Your video is very good and I would even recommend it for some teenagers. I am 14 and I enjoyed watching it myself.
Sincerely, Jenna

Dear Tracy,
I think the movie (Kristen’s Fairy House) was great. I learned to be careful to not litter or drop thing into the water. My favorite part was when Kristen put the fairy outfit on and you guys danced to the music. I think the end of the book Fairy Houses was really good. You must have been proud of yourself for making the movie especially a Gold Award Winner,
