i belive in fairies
Just learned how to build fairy houses at a Woman’s Outdoor Workshop (WOW), in Western PA….great class. Only natural materials, no longer living were used. We built fairy houses in the forest, along a trail, for others to enjoy. I built one at our campsite when I returned that night. I have made a commitment to build a fairy house at each campsite as we travel creating a log book of pictures and locations to document them all. We try to spend most of our time camping in State and Federal Parks….perfect location for them. Such fun and what a nice way to connect with nature.
i love fairies i am trying to build a fairy house now but i dont know what to use but i wont give up. most fairies need a better home than what they have now so i will keep trying.
I am currently making a fairy home. I got sticks from my yard and cut them all the same size. I then stacked then like Lincoln logs and filled in the gaps with mini rocks I glued to look like cobble. I cut the middle front “log” off to make room for a door and I am going to next make a floor, then support beams then a door and my second floor. I will make my floor out of tin foil glued to be covered with soil and gravel. That is coming from my terrarium which also has mini fairy things
I built a fairy house and left a note. Then I put my tiny doll furniture in side. When I woke up the book in the house was now on the bed and the little crown was moved and so much more.
I love fairies n all those living in Fairyland like elves n gnomes n pixies as I’ve been around them since I was a Brownie in my childhood! Enjoyed creating beautiful imaginary things for them decorating our places with natural things found aroundcthe school garden, each time the Brownies met. I belonged to the Pixie group then.
I believe fairies r real n have written A Handbook for a Fairy recently with beautiful complementing font n colours in Word.
My next project is to make it into a hard copy n have many ideas for it. Will let u know once it is complete: )
