Fairy Houses Garden Tour
Bellevue, Iowa

All proceeds go to the Fur-Ever Friends, for the Jackson County Humane Society animal shelter.
A self-guided tour of artist-made fairy houses set in a private, hillside garden, featuring organic flower and vegetable beds.
The fairy houses will be sold at auction at the conclusion of the two-day event. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will match a portion of the benefit proceeds.

A new musical production based on the bestselling children’s book, "Forest Secrets: A Fairy Houses Mystery" by Tracy Kane and Kelly Sanders.
This enchanting musical production reveals how nature inspires children's imaginations and captures their hearts encouraging them to go outside to cherish and respect wildlife and their habitats.
The muscial is followed by a Fairy House Village tour on the Playhouse grounds. This annual event attracts hundreds of people of all ages to the Playhouse to walk through the woods on the 27-acre campus and enjoy the many “Fairy Houses” built by local floral designers and artisans.
Build your own Fairy Houses along the path! Take an enchanting nature walk, plus enjoy other activities along the way.

The fun starts at the Gazebo in the center of the harbor with face painting, coloring fairy pictures and getting fairy dust in your hair! This is followed by building fairy houses along the Riverwalk with Tracy Kane. She will be available to sign her books from 2:30 to 3:30.
A donation of $1 is requested.

The Maine Fairy Houses Festival - 4th Annual Event!
Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
Boothbay, Maine
This magical three-day event returns to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens for a fourth year. Famed fairy-house author and illustrator, Tracy Kane, will be back to lead fairy house building activities and will sign her books for fans. Many children attend wearing costumes, and vendors will be here for you to find still more fairy-related items. At the Festival, boys and girls can enjoy building fairy houses, fairy arts and crafts, and games. They’ll enjoy stories and readings by popular authors and storytellers, a parade, fairy teas, live performances, workshops, display ‘designer’ fairy houses, and the great bubble machine!
Come celebrate the opening of the brand new amazing "Children's Garden 2010"!
Tracy Kane will be available for book readings, signings, plus fairy house building workshops.

The Gardens are in mid-coast Maine, about an hour’s drive northeast of Portland and just 10 miles south of coastal Route 1.
From southern Maine: Follow signs to the Boothbay region. Soon after crossing the Wiscasset bridge on Route 1 North, turn right onto Route 27 South towards Boothbay. After 9.3 miles, bear right at the Boothbay monument, across from the town common and gazebo. Go straight at the stop sign immediately ahead. After 0.25 miles, turn right onto Barters Island Road. The entrance to the Gardens is about 1 mile ahead, on the left.

Come to the Fairy/Gnome House Festival and tour Ash Cottage on beautiful Newfound Lake. A Magical Day for the whole family is planned for all ages!!
Tracy Kane, author of the Fairy House book series, will read from and autograph her books. Tour the Meadow and see Fairy/Gnome Houses built by campers, children of all ages from local school programs and adults.

Due to the amazingly successful
tours of the last five years where thousands attended, the Sixth
Annual Tour is now scheduled! Tracy Kane will be present to
chat with fairy houses fans and sign her books.
Last year's tour raised almost $29,000 for local non-profit organizations! The tour will include Strawbery Banke, Prescott Park, the Governor John Langdon House and the Wentworth Gardner and Tobias Lear Houses. South New Hampshire Dance Theatre will present excerpts from the new "Fairy Houses Ballet - The Journey". Plus, help build a Fairy Houses Village in the new enchanted forest at the Governor John Langdon House!
