"Thanks for inspiring so many children!"

Hello Tracy,

I thought you might enjoy photos of the fairy houses kids built during the first anniversary of our toy store, Kazoodles, in Vancouver, Wash. We have a little patio garden area in the back of the store, and we brought boxes of bark, shells, cones, twigs and moss. One of our employees makes Christmas wreaths every year and had boxes of natural things in her garage, so she was a great resource. We gathered the kids in the store's book nook, read them "Fairy Houses," showed some examples from "Fairy Houses Everywhere,"
and then led them outside to create. It was a wonderful parent-child activity, and the sun shone on us after a very rainy week, sort of a blessing to the event. The houses are still there for kids to see when they visit the store.

Sincerely,
Mary Sisson
