August 11th saw the World Premiere of “FAIRY HOUSES - THE MUSICAL” at the premier children's theater in New England. Based on the bestselling children’s book, "Fairy Houses" by Tracy Kane, this musical production was brought to the stage by the Ogunquit Playhouse, celebrating 75 years! The musical was adapted for the stage by Jack Neary, with music by Ken Clifton.
The weekend event included a tour of a "Fairy Houses Village," created on the Playhouse grounds by local community artisans and families. Families taking the tour also joined in to build their own fairy houses. Tracy Kane and husband Barry Kane, were at hand to help with tips on how to build, plus sign books. |
