Tour Summary
Due to the amazing success of last year's tour, another is scheduled for this Fall! Over 3,000 people took the tour last September which raised thousands of dollars for local area non-profit organizations.

Come, enjoy a magical “one of a kind” garden tour! A self-guided walking tour of Fairy Houses displayed in both public and private gardens in the historic South End neighborhood of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Families, gardeners, nature lovers and the young at heart will be enchanted by these whimsical fairy habitats, built for the fairies to visit. Highlights of the tour include:

  • Fairy Houses built in various “theme” garden settings
  • Tour includes historic Strawbery Banke, John Langdon House, Prescott Park, Peirce Island plus 6 private gardens
  • Enjoy many Fairy festivities
  • Meet Tracy Kane, author/illustrator of "The Fairy Houses Series" of books and video
  • Build your own fairy house and help create a “Fairy Houses Village” at Peirce Island
  • Special raffle prizes
  • All within walking distance

Dates:

Saturday, September 23rd and

Time: Noon - 4 p.m. both days
Location:Tour begins on Peirce Island where there is free parking and tickets and tour maps available to those who have not bought them in advance.

Children (3-12 yrs.) $5.00 $5.00
Adults $10.00 $15.00
Seniors (62+) $8.00 $10.00

Ticket proceeds benefit local non-profit organizations.

* Advance tickets may be purchased beginning September 1st in Portsmouth at
Strawbery Banke and Prescott Park.
