A variety of “Fairy Houses Tours” have become a unique and dynamic link between The Fairy Houses Series® of books and many communities. They vary from simple community viewing of fairy houses to complete community involvement that includes schools, historical museums, parks organizations, gardening clubs and scout groups - to name just a few.

Most Tours have been community initiatives, where community members contacted author, Tracy Kane, to help organize or participate in the development and running of a tour.

Ogunquit Children’s Theater - a highly respected theater in New England - combines a Fairy Houses Tour with a musical adaptation of “Fairy Houses” and “Forest Secrets” book concepts for their Children’s Theater programs. This highly successful combination highlights the impact that the Series has had on communities.

Some Tours have been run as “fund raisers” - although participants prefer to call them “friend-raisers” since all groups involved come together to enjoy the common theme of fairy houses that all ages enjoy. Last year, the “Portsmouth Fairy Houses Tour” raised almost $30,000 for local non-profit organizations. The tours are a win-win for all!
