This magical “one of a kind” Tour includes Strawbery Banke, Prescott Park and the Governor John Langdon House.

Reknown author/illustrator of The Fairy Houses Series®, Tracy Kane, will be present to chat with fairy houses fans and sign her books.

Tour Summary

  • Ticket includes entrance to Strawbery Banke and Governor John Langdon House!
  • Meet Tracy Kane, author/illustrator of the multi-award winning Fairy Houses Series® of books and video.
  • Fairy Houses - The Ballet. An original work based on Fairy Houses, by Tracy Kane. Adapted and performed by The Southern New Hampshire Youth Ballet.
    Full performance, Saturday at 12:30pm, and excerpts from the ballet on Sunday at 12:30pm and 2:30pm.
  • Build your own Fairy House! on Peirce Island and help create the World’s Largest Fairy Houses Village!
  • Genevieve Aichele performs excepts from Tracy Kane’s new audio book, “Forest Secrets”- Saturday at 9:45am, 10:30am and 11:45am in the wooded grove at the Governor John Langdon House. Genevieve is artistic director of the NH Theatre Project and award-winning recording artist.
  • Plus, The Amazing Bubble Machine!
  • Scenes from the play, “Forest Secrets” by Tracy Kane - Sunday, 11:45am, 1pm and 2pm, NH Theatre Project Junior Repertory Company members Isabel Smith and Van Wile, under the direction of Meghann Beauchamp.
  • All within walking distance
  • FREE PARKING available at Peirce Island

Children (3-12) advance $4, day of tour $5
Adults advance $10, day of tour $15
Seniors (62+) advance $8, day of tour $10
Family advance $20, day of tour N/A

Ticket proceeds benefit local non-profit organizations and schools. Last year’s tour raised approximately $30,000 for local non-profit organizations!

Tickets and tour maps are available by the flag pole at Prescott Park, Governor John Langdon House, and on Peirce Island (by the main parking areas) for those who have not bought them in advance.

Suggested Directions

(to avoid congestion)
From I95 take exit 3, Rte 33 towards Portsmouth along Middle Road. Soon after crossing Rte 1 take a right on South Street.
Take a left on Marcy Street.
Take a quick right to stay on Marcy Street.
Take a right on Peirce Island Road for parking.
