The Maine Fairy Houses Festival ~ 2010

4th Annual Event!

Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
Boothbay, Maine

Pictures from this year’s Event!

This magical three-day event returns to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens for a fourth year. Famed fairy-house author and illustrator, Tracy Kane, will be back to lead fairy house building activities and will sign her books for fans. Many children attend wearing costumes, and vendors will be here for you to find still more fairy-related items. At the Festival, boys and girls can enjoy building fairy houses, fairy arts and crafts, and games. They’ll enjoy stories and readings by popular authors and storytellers, a parade, fairy teas, live performances, workshops, display ‘designer’ fairy houses, and the great bubble machine!

Come celebrate the opening of the brand new amazing “Children’s Garden 2010”!

Tracy Kane will be available for book readings, signings, plus fairy house building workshops.

Looks like a fun event. Please let me know when you have the 2011 dates set. I would love to come with my mother (who introduced me to the wonders of Fairy Houses on Monhegan when I was a child) and daughter. Thank you
