Do adults need to pay? I have a 2 and 3 year old daughters.
Hi!! I am a fairy and I do fairy Hair. I charge per strand. Can I set up at your festival?
for more information check me out on fb!!!
Thanks, Jo
Can’t wait to come out and romp in the woods with my little one. Should we bring any special supplies for the houses? Anything we should not be bringing?
This year, in 2018, the event does require tickets. It is $5 for ages 5 and up and free for the little ones. This is so we can monitor the number of people coming and be sure to provide the best experience for everyone! There will be some great new stations and activities this year to reflect the added value. With questions or for tickets, please call us at the nature center 980-314-1129.
Is this free or $5 for ages 5 and up? The sign at McDowell park states that there is a fee and limited space available.
Would like to be a vendor for the fairy festival. Have a face painting business and a funnel cake business. Both would work well Please call me at funnel cakes by pam. At. 704 497. 6433. E mail [email protected]
Yay, soooo much fun this year, as always. The food trucks in the parking lot was nice- so the exhaust and noise stayed out there instead of having it in the park
!! Thanks for hosting the festival Latta!
We had so much fun last year, it was a truly special day for all of us. We can’t wait to come back again. This is such a great event for the whole family.
Is there any chance that this will develop into a broader Fairy and Earth festival like the one in Flat Rock, NC, in the future. We attended last year but felt like it was focused on the children, (which is fine), but would love to see it extended to for adults also. Just wondering if that is possible in the future? Would love it! Thanks! Was a beautiful thing for the children!
I would love to have the date ahead of time so we could make plans to bring my granddaughter from Asheville.
And I dearly wish you’d consider this a spring event. At the last February date the high was 37 degrees - burr!
With Kind Regards, Susan Proctor
Do you have a date for 2016? Will there be any more in 2015? At what location?
Why do you hold this event so early in the year? I would have thought this would be a spring event not winter. Please email if you do it again this year. Even late fall would be great time for this type of event. Just a suggestion. But please email me whenever the next one is. I want to bring my niece while she still believes in fairies.
I had a wonderful time this past Saturday at the Latte Plantation Fairy House Day! I can’t wait until next year!!! I have attached some pictures that my human daughter took! Enjoy!! p.s. thank you soooo much for the autograph in my Fairy House book!!! xoxoxo
We’d love to know who won the contest! So many good ones.
We had a great time! Can the pics be saved to our own computer?
We had a great day in the forest. We know the fairies were quietly watching, choosing which house the would move into when the humans had gone home.
It was great to meet Tracy and Barry. Hope you enjoy living in North Carolina and that we’ll meet again.
We missed this but it sounds wonderful! Is there a date for next year yet or one this summer?
